For an FM signal having possible frequency of 2.5MHz total frequency swing is given by 1200 kHz. Find carrier frequency, deviation frequency and minimum frequency.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The given frequency of FM is a instantaneous frequency,

the total swing of the frequency is twice of maximum frequency deviation.

Total swing = 2∆f.

Fi = fc+ ∆f.

fc= fi- ∆f

fmin = fc-∆f

∆f maximum frequency deviation

fc= carrier frequency

By the use of above formula we got all the values.
