2. You have a square field of 10 acres. If you install 1x1 meter solar panels tilted south at latitude for DE (that is, so that at the equinoxes, the sun’s rays are perpendicular to the panels), and install so there is no shading at the winter solstice, how many panels can you install? If the panels have 20 % efficiency, how many kWh will they produce in one year (assume since you have installed them so that there is no shading, the insolation for all of them is the insolation of a single panel in DE). If you sell the electricity to the utility at $0.05/kWh, how much $ do you make each year?
