State Carsons rule for bandwidth estimation .
What does it reduce to for NBFM and WBFM?
Carson's rule is helpful in finding the bandwidth required for a carrier signal that is frequency modulated by a continous or broad spectrum of frequencies instead by single frequency.
According to Carson's Bandwidth rule,
Bandwidth required=2*(Peak frequency deviation+highest frequency in modulationg signal)
For narrow bandwidth FM, bandwidth=2*(highest frequency in modulating signal)
For wideband FM, bandwidth=2*(Peak frequency deviation+highest frequency in modulationg signal)
