Attenuation meaning is the reduction of signal strength and it can occur in any kind of signal like analog otherwise digital. In some cases, it can be called attenuation loss;

1. noise on networks, like radio frequencies, electrical currents, and wire leakage, may interfere with the signal and cause attenuation.

2.Physical surroundings like temperature, wall barriers, and improper wire installation may distort the transmission.

3.When the transmission in a cable travels for long distances like from source (current place) to destination (connection supplier), then it experiences more noise while traveling.

4.thinner wires suffer from more attenuation than thicker wires on wired networks.

5.Higher the impedance of conductors higher attenuation so we must intalled conductor with low impedance in budget.
