a) A three-phase line was originally designed with an equilateral spacing of 16 feet; however, it is decided to build the line with horizontal spacing (D13 = 2D12 = 2D23). The conductors are transposed. What should be the spacing between adjacent conductors in order to get the same inductance than the original design?

b) Assume there is single-phase line built to transmit certain active power P. However, the engineers made a mistake and now the line is only able to transmit 0:9P. Use the data of problem a and assume a short line model (series reactance without losses) with exactly the same operational values for both conditions. Determine a way to solve the problem by neither changing the conductor type nor adding more circuits.

if you dont mind i have already solved a and found the distance is 12.7 ft i just cant figure out b).
