transistor, but with a very high gain (beta). You suspect this is a
composite device, that is, it is made up of a few components inside
the enclosure. Draw a circuit which you propose might be the inner
structure of the device.
b) Consider the same NPN transistor circuit in part a).
Suppose the resistor R1 is placed between the collector and the
base, rather the between VCC and the base. How would this
modification affect the behavior of the circuit?
c) Consider the same NPN transistor circuit in part a) .
Explain what happens to the voltage at the collector if each of the
component values were increased or decreased.
