Xerox vision worked against the development of Radical new technologies like ALTO that was World's first PC with Mouse.

They believed in working on things that would bring guaranteed revenue from market and did not wanted to work over something new and innovative involving big risks . That was their working ideology . They wanted to move at same pace as like other companies were doing like if IBM introduced an Electric Typewriter , they also did released the same Electric Typewriter products in market . Their strategic focus was on making incremental improvements. This vision worked against the ALTO technology and it's further development .
