Two alternators A and B are operating in parallel stably. If the input power to the alternator A is reduced, then,

Homework Answers

Answer #1

1) when input power of one alternator is reduced then armature current of that alternator is decreases and therfore terminal voltage of two alternator created phase inbalance

2) due to diffrent voltage of of generator the circulating current is flow from high potetial armature to low potential armature

3) output power is directly propostional to input power and also output pwoer is directly propostional to (sin of powe angle) since input power is reduced the power angle is reduced.

please give thumbs up

1-Power Systems: Line Diagrams (a) Sketch a single line diagram for the following power system. There are three 3-phase alternators supplying an 11 kV busbar and one 3-phase alternator supplying a 33 kV busbar. There are two parallel transmission lines fed from the 11 kV line and supplying a 33kV busbar. Each has a step-up and step-down transformer. One secondary feeders from the 33 kV bus bar feeds a further kV busbar through a stepdown transformer. This is further stepped...

The ElectroTech Engineering manufactures two industrial sized electrical devices: generators and alternators. Both of these products require wiring and testing during the assembly process. Each generator requires 5 hours of wiring and 1 hour of testing and can be sold for a $250 profit. Each alternator requires 3 hours of wiring and 2 hours of testing and can be sold for a $150 profit. There are 260 hours of wiring time and 140 hours of testing time available in the...

Two large conducting parallel plates A and B are separated by 2.4 m. A uniform field of 1500 V/m, in the positive x-direction, is produced by charges on the plates. The center plane at x = 0.00 m is an equipotential surface on which V = 0. An electron is projected from x = 0.00 m, with an initial velocity of 1.0 × 107 m/s perpendicular to the plates in the positive x-direction, as shown in the figure. What is...
