Three 60w bulbs are in parallel across a 60v power line. If one bulb burns what will happen to the other 2? and Why ?
Ans is nothing will happen to other two bulbs they will glow with same intensity before third bulb bulb burn(open)
Why¿
"If power consumption is change then
Light intensity will change "
Let's modeled bulb as Resistor
Therefore three resistor are connected parallel with a volatage
source
And power consumed by each resistor is (V^2/R)
Even one resistor open(burn) power consumed by other two bulbs
remain same ( in parallel volatage is same)
Therefore the two bulbs glow as it is without any change
