How to express a random signal mathematically? (Topic: Deterministic and Random Signal)

Answer #1

Random Process or Stochastic process are deals with trandomly varing time wave forms. Arandom process is a function of elements of sample space (s) and time(t). it is denoted by X(t,s) or simply X(t).

X(t,s) represent a family of functions by varing t and s called Ensemble. each member time function in this family is called sample function.

this random process represents a single time function when s is fixed and t is variable. it is denoted by x(t) random signal.if fixed s is si then the time functions are X(t,si) = xi(t)

How close to the black hole must a space station be such that a signal it sends to Earth using shortwave radio (roughly 0.1 meter wavelength) gets redshifted to ultra long-wave radio (roughly 1000 meter wavelength)? Assume the Earth is very far away from the black hole. Express your answer as a multiple of the black hole’s Schwarzschild radius.

How are signal molecule levels in blood regulated? By rapidly inactivating circulating signal molecule By keeping the signal molecule’s concentration constant by maintaining the rate of the molecule’s synthesis equal to the rate of its degradation By changing the rate of the signal molecule’s release from storage, transport, and conversion from inactive to active form All of the above are correct a and c are correct
