For a transmit array consisting of 5 identical antennas, what is the maximum array gain it can achieve when the transmitter has the channel state information? What happens when the transmitter does not have the channel state information?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

According to concept,

If perfect channel state information is available to the transmitter, Than Maximum Gain is equal to number of
transmit antennas and the number of receivers is achievable.
Since 5 identical Transmitter antennas are given.

Hence for the channel state information Maximum gain is equal
to 5.

On the other hand, if each receiver has identical
fading statistics and the transmitter has no channel information(i.e.Channel State information is not there),
the maximum achievable multiplexing gain is only one.

Hence If transmitter does not have the channel state information, Than maximum achievable gain is one.

You have just completed the physical assessment on a patient who is complaining of weight gain, swollen feet and ankles, and increasing dyspnea. When you palpate her point of maximum impulse (PMI), it is felt in the left midaxillary line at the fifth intercostal space. What does this finding indicate? This finding is expected. The heart has shifted. There is left ventricular enlargement. There is right ventricular enlargement.

This programming task will be a bit different. It will be more like what you would receive if you were a maintenance engineer working in a corporate information systems or technology department.
