Can P controller be better than PI and PID controllers in some cases? if so how...

Can P controller be better than PI and PID controllers in some cases? if so how and what are the cases?

in my project ,igot the best contoller to approach the value of less than 10% overshoot and less than 2 seconds settling time is the P controller, then PID, then PI< its settling was keeping constant with variyng the value of k

So is my calculations wrong or it could happen?
