A type of transformer assembly for use with load tap changers is the A. iron-core reactor.. B. constant-current transformer. C. air-insulated reactor. D. oil-insulated reactor.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Firstly there are two types of load tap changers 1)on load tap changers(oltc) and

2) off load tap changers (oftc)

Noe comes to on load tap changers we mostly and generally use oil insulated one and in off load tap changers we go with the air insulated reactors .Here in the given questio they didn't mention about what is the type of transformer it is either off load or on load ,but now comes to modern life now all transformers used are on load tap changers so we can choose the option D which is oil insulated reactor
