Explain how the energy demand of a HVAC System can be reduced by a focus on the distribution system

The main energy consumption sources are heaters and coolers so in order to minimize the energy consyconsumwe need to adopt certain measures to optimize fully the resources and minimize the losses , some of the measures for this are :-

1) Use of programmable thermostats , as by doing manually switching losses are increased

2) Maintain coil of your outdoor ac units , as if outdoor coils are dirty AC consume more power

3) Do not use instruments which are very old as it consumes more power instead replace it with new equipment

In other measures ,to overcome lagging lower factor compensation devices like SVC can be used
