What is the difference between noise measured for an LED and the noise measured for a laser? which one generates more noise?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Since LED and Laser both have different characteristics in the way in which they emit light so it will definately results in difference in some aspect among which noise measurement also there. LED has highly diverged output whereas Laser has converging light output which actually indicates that Laser will be most accurate as it will be like omnidirectional and LED will have more noise in communication therefore noise measured for LED will be more in compare to Laser as it is more accurate. Thus LED will generate more noise.
