Question

I was sending and receiving data from GPS antenna using Iridium modem, and client and server C++ scripts. However the goal of my project is to determine the power budget of Iridium satellite, I used a current sensor, to determine the power... for a single file I got 330mA, but when I send multiple files the number varies...I sent 17 single files at the same time and the current sensor detect between 300-330mA, which is relevant..I have one with very lower 94mA what could be the reason ????

Data transferring between client and server based on File Transfer Protocal(FTP) over communication channel mainly dapends on passive and active modes of transfer i.e., in active mode, transferring data should be done only after the server establishes the data connection to client that means client was ready to start session which was send by the request and server was gonna accept that, then only connection will establish,which will consume more power and In passive mode server itself will sends the information to client regarding the data that was transmitted and here no need to wait for requesting and accepting.

may be this was the reason for that two models means two different modes of transferring takes place
