You may have heard the terms physical and logical circuits in the textbook and discussions. How do these circuits differ?

Answer #1

Physical circuit :

There are numerous physical ways circuits with the 0,1 property of binary numbers can be constructed: a magnet has a north and a south pole, a switch is either open or closed. The circuits could use electricity, fluids, light, or possibly even biological circuits at the atomic level.

Logical circuit:-

logic circuit is a circuit that executes a processing or controlling function in a computer. This circuit implements logical operations on information to process it.Logic circuits utilise two values for a given physical quantity (voltage, for example) to denote the Boolean values true and false or 1 and 0 respectively.

We can deduce the main difference from the basic definition of both the circuit. Logic circuit just defines the logic of Operations which is being carried out , but physical circuit is circuit or we can say placement of circuit elements which will carry out the logical operation.

Logic circuits use logic gates as their fundamental elements , whereas physical circuit use circuit elements like transistors , resistors etc. as their fundamental elements.
