the most common use or application of a bipolar junction transistor is as an amplier. it is used to amplify ab input signal and convert it into a higher amplitude output signal. in industry this can be used to amplify radio waves. radio waves, when recieved by the antenna are weak in amplitude and hence need to be amplied for the user to interpret them.a bipolar junction transistor is used for this precise purpose.
