The panels weighed in at 20 lbs (9.07 Kg) and were approximately 5 foot wide. As a first cut assume the stepper motor can produce the rated torque, instantaneously. We will be using the 57BYGH303A stepper, the data sheet for which is posted on Canvas (T = 16 kgf cm). How long should the first steps be? (20 points)

Hint: Compute the angular acceleration and then compute time need to travel at one step (1.8o)

First of all we find the angular acceleration using the relationship between torque,mass moment of inertia and angular acceleration.

Then we known about the step size of the stepper motor so we applied Newton equation for finding the time for the first step required.
