The lights in part of the customer's premises are very bright, and in another part the lights are very dim. What is the likely cause?

The main reason for different brightness of lighting is available of voltage rating to the lighting system. If the customers premises is close to the transformer the available voltage rating will be more and the lights will glow brighter. If the customers premises is for away from the transformer the voltage drop will be very more and due to which the lights are very dim.

To avoid these types of system we must use Ring type distribution system where a particular area is feeded from both ends, the drop at the far end is transformer is reduced.
