You are the part of design team of a Pavwer Generation Company. Your company is working on Hybrid Power Generation
Project signed with Government of Pakistan
Raw Project details (from agreement) are given below.
Hybrid Power House will be installed on a site located along river Jhelum. Power will be generated from 3 sources,
Water, Solar and Furnace Qil Algorithm must be designed in such a way that Hydel and Solar sources must be given
preference. Contractor is responsible for hybridizing available energy sources with the national grid at 500 kV.
On-site available energies are as follows
Available Hydro Power Potential 20 MW
Recommended Solar Power C Capacity 15 Mw
Suggested Furnace Power Potential: 10 MW
You are required to design the detailed schematic of substation for the power house. Design procedure must be in
accordance with standard design guidelines along with proper legends and required ratings of substation equipment.
