Gas Turbine Plant: 600 TL / kW + 50 krş / kWh

Steam Plant: 2400 TL / kW + 12 krş / kWh

Considering that the consumption and maximum power demand is Same in case of both the sources available....that is a consumer consumes "a"kW as maximum demand and "b" kWh as total demand then he would charged totally as follows

Case1

Gas turbine plant:---.>. 600a TL + 50 b kr

600a TL + 0.5 b TL

(Because 1TL =100kr turkey)

Case 2

steam plant. 2400a TL+12b kr-------->2400aTL +0.12b TL

Equating case 1 and case 2

600a+0.5b =2400a+0.12b

At a load coefficient of 6.577778 the cost is same for both energy systems
