Please I need a project topic name for a project in adjustable speed drives (AC drives in power electronics) and a guide on how to write the project. Thank you.

we have two types of AC motors.

1. induction motors

2.synchronous motors.

in three phase induction motors, speed control is possible from both stator side and rotor side.

> we know torque is directly proportional to supply voltage.

> by using ac voltage controllers connected in each phase, so we will adjust the stator voltage then speed control is possible.

> in rotor side slip power recovery schemes available.i.e scherbius drive and kramers drive.

> by using above two methods efficiently speed control is possible and also losses are minimum.

> in rotor side, rotor resistance control method is also there. but here losses are more.to reduce these losses power electronics based resistance control method is also available.
