How does one do an asymptotic power expansion of an implicit function? Say the function y = y(x) is given implicitly as y = 1+x*y^2. If that function is too difficult, then how about x^2+y^2 = 1? I just don't know how to get started. I've thought about using the Taylor series expansion, but I don't know if that is a correct approach. I was asked to do the power expansion of y = 1+x*y^2 to the power 8. If...

How might one handle an increase in power dissipation using zeners? Design a power supply implementing these 1/2Watt zener diodes that can provide 250mW of power to a load from an input voltage ranging approximately 12-30 volts. Use standard resistor values. I need so much help on this please I don’t even know how to start.

Several factors influence statistical power for a one-sample t test. How does statistical power change (increase or decrease) for each of the following changes? When d (effect size) increases. When N (sample size) increases. When the alpha level is made smaller. Explain your answer. For example, if we know ahead of time that the effect size d is very small, what does this tell us about the N we will need in order to have adequate statistical power? (We assume...
