Find the nominal input channel impedance of the TDS2002C and TBS1052B-EDU and also the maximum frequency that the DSO is able to measure reliably. What happens to measurement of signals close to the maximum frequency?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The input Channel Impeence with DSO --> TBS1052B-EDU is 1 Mega Ohm and Max. Freq. is 50 MHz . See Page-6 at https://www.tek.com/sites/default/files/media/media/resources/TBS1000B-EDU-Series-Oscilloscope-Datasheet-2_0.pdf

The input Channel Impeence with DSO --> TBS2002C is 1 Mega Ohm also and max. Freq. 70 MHz. See Page-6 at

http://www.testequipmenthq.com/datasheets/TEKTRONIX-TDS2002C-Datasheet.pdf

A 50 Mhz or 70 MHz DSO indiactes its bandwitdth for signal measurement and indicates the point where the measured amplitude decreases by -3 db (70.7 %). A signal with freq. close to max. freq. will show the amplitude 70.7 % of the actual amplitude. Therefore at 5V signal will actually show up as 3.5V, and 3.3V will show up as 2.3V.

Find the less bandwidth of the channel to transmit the encoded binary signal for the specifications: 4 kHz band-limited signal is sampled at rate of 331⁄3 % higher than the sampling rate and 0.4% allowable error in the sample amplitude (i.e., the maximum quantization error). Assume binary encoding. If 24 signals are multiplexed on a single line (known as a T1 Line in the Telephone system), what is the total data rate for this system.

Hi, I am asked to find what type of measurement of scale is being used (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio) for the variable of "the nature of a joke" for example, benevolent joke or good-humored joke. Also what type of measurement of scale (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio) is being used for the type of reaction, for example negative emotion or positive emotion.

1. The Fed’s maximum employment mandate is generally interpreted as an attempt to achieve an unemployment rate that is as close as possible to the natural rate and inflation that is close to its 2% goal for personal consumption expenditure price inflation. Go to the St. Louis Federal Reserve FRED database and find data on the personal consumption expenditure price index (PCECTPI), the unemployment rate (UNRATE), and a measure of the natural rate of unemployment (NROU). For the price index,...

In the market for hot dogs, what happens when the price of beef goes up and the price of hot dog buns goes up? [hot dogs are made of beef. Also, the term "hot dog" here refers to just the sausage. So you buy hot dogs at the store. And you also buy "hot dog buns" at the store.
