These are set of rules and regulation ,which regilstes the quantity supplies of money in market and also helpful in deciding exchange value.

As we know Supply of money or liquidity is necessary too for investment and thus for economic growth rate in a economy .

monetary standards are of two type

1) Metallic standard:Monometallic(one metal adopted as standard currency),bimetallism(two metal having fixed legal ratio of amount as standard )

2) paper standard:paper currency by central bank of the country is adopted as standard currency .
