What role might military groups play in the reform of socialist economic systems? Why might a role for the military be different from roles to be played by other important interest groups?

Military groups play a role to bring discipline at reforms work, develop path of reforms and regulatory framework to ensure that reforms achieve its objectives. Here, military groups will also try to ensure that benefits of the reforms should be maximized for the military forces and fund allocation for military forces should not be reduced in the name of reforms. Here, the other important interest groups, will be different in playing their roles in reforms. Other interest groups will optimize the reform for all the stakeholders and such as human capital development, private property rights and care for the natural resources and environment. It will be multi-dimensional and more balanced, than the role played by military groups that is single dimensional, making it more disciplined and structural reforms only.
