1. Night time light would reflect a variety of characteristics of a region with a strong correlation, namely -
(A) Urbanization
(B) Population Density with amount of establishments
2. But, in cases of micro level economic activity reflectors such as wages, total consumption in terms of wages, total production , etc, night-lights won't be able to show the actual/total data due to uncorrelation during the day time activities.
3. Hence, the accuracy of measuring economic activity won't be as high as measuring Gross Domestic Product.
