1) the first and foremost sacrifices of the opportunity cost with this decision would be the amount of output that thing is produced is here and it is very important for the United States to remain as a superpower and help the world countries.

2) loss of individual Welfare as the daily paying jobs might be affected and the people will be no longer receiving salaries.

3) shortage of supply of even some necessity goods and also blockage of trade can happen so that the supplies might not receive in time

4) things might be difficult to handle in the international arena due to shut down where United States has to act according to its best interest such as protection of its own jobs which might be Harsh on international countries
