Explain why reducing the product prices of Disney won’t be ideal for the company.
State the pricing strategy that would work better instead and why?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Reducing prices will lead to brand cannibalization and abruptlynegate the brand positioning of premium quality services anf also lead to lossess in long run.

Thus mid segment pricing works best for Disney which is priced lower than premium prices and helps in profitability maximisation with steady revenues and better brand imagery and perceptions about the brand quality.
