social cohesion basically refers to the extent of the solidarity and connectedness among different groups in society .it is a social process whose objective is to consolidate the citizenship by reducing socioeconomic fractures and disparities and inequality in the society .In modern society social coehsion is very important for prosperity and competiveness in the long term.The social coehsion focus on business development and economic growth and are politically stable .It is an outcome of the policies which allows the sharance of prosperity in the society making it sustainable .
