The number of internet users in China is more than 900 million and rising, which creates great potential for e-commerce. Currently, in total dollar volume of e-commerce transaction China comes second in the world after the US. However China is number one in the world in the total volume of mobile payments, a big share of which is related to e-commerce transactions. One thing that makes doing business in China easy is the uniformity of the language, culture, economic and political conditions through China. The biggest problem with doing business in China however, is the fact that foreign companies have to form joint ventures with Chinese companies to do so.
