Does a state lose something important when it sinks to the level of an opponent who is amoral or immoral?
No, I do not think that a state loses anything important when it sinks down to an opponent who is immortal or amoral. An opponent who is immoral should get a lesson by immorality. There is no point of showing morality to the immoral opponent. If we do show morality then there will be a greater chance that we will be on a losing side at end of the war. In the war, the most important thing is to win the battle and if the opponent shows immorality to win then we should also sink own to that level.
