Answer #1

Answer : It is believed that women has comparative advantage at household work and men has comparative advantage in work for pay. It is so because from historical perspective, women were not allowed to work. Women use to trained by their mothers for household works which made them specialised in this activity. Moreover there was from starting gender biasd culture where women only do household work and took care of children and men use to do work for pay. Psychological also society's paradigm was that women should do household works and men should do work for pay outside house.

Biologically also men were considered more powerful than women. Hence men prefer to do work and women do household work.
