Education is the acquisition of knowledge,skills,values beliefs habits etc. It will create an overall development of the individual.These developments may influence the work they are undertaking. So that without any doubt we can say that educated people's productivity is much higher than the uneduacted. Along with the education if the individual is having good experience in the particular area of work, then he will be a perfect one for that particular job.

We assume that highly educated one is the highly productive so that based on their education qualification we selec them. So here we consider education for the screening purpose. It has certain limitations but still people are using this step for the selection of the employees.

So, we can say that education increases the labour productivity at the same time it is the screening device as well.
