In Chapter 13's Selling In Action, Chester Karass is quoted as saying "In business, you don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate." Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?
Negotiation is business refers to collective or individual bargaining , whereby two individuals or two groups of people try to settle down on a dispute or an issue in which both party interests are maintained . Negotiation is a very important aspect of business . Buyers negotiate with price to incease their consumer surplus while sellers want to negotiate in order to increase profits . This continues till they reach a common ground or a price in which both party agree . a mutually acceptable aggrement is always required in every aspect of busniess . As for example even in hiring managers for business , the person with best negotiation skills ends up having the best remuneration . Negotiation with labor unions is also a common aspect of business . Hence I agree with this statement .
