Digital world is the computer dominated world having internet connection readily.

Digital divide is the separation of people and/or area having the digital access and not having the digital access.

Importance:

(1) It gives idea about who are the depriving class of people not getting the facility of computer.

(2) The policymaker or the government can work on it based on such information.

(3) Income inequality can’t be removed or reduced unless the gap of digital divide is minimized.

(4) The government gets a picture of how much educational facility and other facilities should require to be provided.

(5) The government gets emphasizing role of activities on priority basis, such as awareness program, investment program, etc.
