    The persons who are willing to get a job , but are not able to get are known as unemployed

    The state at which the number of persons between the age of 21 to 60 , who are looking for a job, but are unable to find it, is known as unemployment.

    All members of a population who are already employed or are looking for job is known as labour force.

Labour force participation rate is defined as total labour force divided by the total working age population.
