Answer #1

Conflict is not necessarily bad, although it is sometimes avoided. Conflict can actually be good for organizations because it promotes open-mindedness and helps to escape the collective tendency to think other organizations are vulnerable to it. The goal is to learn how to effectively manage conflict so that it can act as a catalyst for organizational change rather than an obstacle.

Conflict Encourages New Thinking Although people are often assumed to avoid conflict, many people actually enjoy conflict to some extent because it can be the incentive for new thinking. Taking a different point of view–which in some cases reflects disagreement–can open up new possibilities and help generate new ideas that may not have been considered otherwise.

Conflict Issues Organizational conflict usually leads to a series of questions about any issues for those on both sides. These issues can lead to new thinking ideas and breakthroughs that can benefit individuals, departments, and organizations. Everything shifts if there is no dispute.

Being friendly is good, but it can actually strengthen relationships by promoting conflict. Through mutual understanding and respect, interpersonal tension between individuals, departments and even competitors may help build relationships. Learning to listen and listen to learning leads to perspectives that are respected in any conflict situation by both sides. Leaders who sincerely appreciate their subordinates ' opinions and ideas are not only more effective leaders, but their employees also consider them more valuable. If an employee thinks his input is valued by management, the employee will enjoy his job more and will increase the overall morale.

Conflicts are more likely to occur in a diverse community consisting of two or more ethnic or cultural groups due to: group identity disparities formed by the cultural values, history, socioeconomic status, and perceived power of the group.
Experience of contact and racism that is hostile.
Misinformed stereotypes and perceptions resulting from prejudice and other external influences

It takes time, patience, humility, a long-term commitment, and a willingness to trust and take the risk of making mistakes to transform conflicts that arise from these causes. But the effort is worth it, because diversity enriches our lives and our cultures, and diversity can not be removed. Global changes and natural disasters (climate change, earthquakes, hurricanes), conflict, economic downturns, and other causes cause various groups of people to migrate in and out of nations, states, towns, and neighborhoods. Conflict is complex and changing at all times. Therefore, to create and sustain stronger alliances and societies, it is important to be able to turn conflicts.
