Answer 1 - codebook or dictionary is printed it contains information about the documentation as to when and how is that particular data was created. Even codebook allows you to communicate with others about your research data insuring that data is interpreted and kept properly
Answer 2 (a) It is very important to check the questionnaire data before and after entering them into the data editor because sometimes while entering data you may mistype that data so checking it gives you a chance to rectify it. Even checking the data also give you a chance to enter missing value which are by mistake not entered properly.
