What kind of trade restrictions would you support and why?

Answer #1

Trade restrictions such as anti dumping duties can be supported and this is because of the fact that the domestic industries of the country will be hugely affected and the economy will get hit on that and therefore anti-dumping duties should actually be supported on the whole. Sometimes customs can also be considered as a valid restriction where is there luxury items and the country has to generate revenue in order to restore the economic position on the whole, else it wouldn't be beneficial to the economy.
