US Steel previously known as Andrew Carnegie' Steel Company is a prime example of Monopoly today in America. Presence of such monopoly calls for unfair trade practices on part of the monopolist like charge a higher price for steel products or limiting the quantity of steel production.

Steel goes as an input in the production of other goods. Lack of availability of steel will also hamper the production of other product which would lead to rise in general price level, a sign of inflation.
