What are "thick" indifference curves?
Indifference curves shows the different combinations of two goods the individual has where he is indifferent between the two goods and hence the indifference curve . The individual is indifferent on every combination of indifference curve.
If we have a thick indifference curve as given in the graph below, then it is so thick that it contains both a and b at the same level and because they are on indifference curve , the individual is indifferent between them.
But another thing is that b is more of coke and pizza and so is better than a which is violation of our first observation.
So the two points on indifference curve are when indifferent violate the assumption of more is better.
