US economy has been doing well over the past two years led by tax reforms and overall improvement in the consumption and investment environment in the country . The recent quarter's GDP growth of 3.5% proved the strong growth in the US economy. Due to the strong economy, the unemployment remained steady at comfortable 4% levels.

However, today's weaker than estimated retail sales numbers changed the scenario a bit as big investment bankers such as JP Morgan reduced Q4 2018 outlook which may be changed the economic view from positive to neutral in the coming year.
