Describe a couple of products in your household that have been imported. Could a domestically made product have filled the need just as well? Can you describe any services that you use as being imported?

Answer #1

I have an iPhone and my brother has an apple watch. Both of these products are imported from a foreign economy. A domestically made product can be a substitute, but it would not fill the need just as well. No other phone can beat the iPhone camera and its performance.

One example of imported service: when you try to reach the customer care service or technical support services of some other goods and services that you use, you may sometimes be connected to someone outside your country. It is because the company has bought services from those people in another country.
