What was abolition movement about-Abolition movement was an organized mass campaign to end slavery or abolish slavery in United States of America,Abolition movement aimed at using various tools right from literature,mass rallies,politics to put an end to slavery,this movement lead to violent tensions ultimately leading to American civil war and an end to slavery.
2.) Three individuals important to the movement-There were many individuals associated with this movement who contributed to it,out of those three individuals I pick would be Harriet Tubman,William Garrison,Sojourner truth.
3.) What these three individuals achieved-Harriet rescued many slaves and build underground networks to escape slaves,being a slave earlier,she escaped and made her life a mission to fight against slavery,William Garrison was founder of The Liberator, a newspaper which championed liberation from slavery,he was also one of the founders of American anti slavery society,Sojourner truth escaped slavery and gave speeches to end slavery,her famous speech Ain't I a woman is testimony to this.
