Answer #1

Gentrification is when a deteriorating / low income neighbourhood is revitalized. Local governments, realty firms & other firms invest in new housing & retail in order to attract the upper middle class. Now, the once destitute, crime-stricken locality is a prosperous utopia of economically stable, chic , young singles & duos. Sounds nice, right? But, there’s a big issue associated with gentrification. Low-income households are compelled to move out & the upper middle classes, mainly white, move in. Whilst gentrification can advantage a region by reducing crime, enhancing the economy, & augmenting property values & taxations, it can have the negative impacts of pricing out ex-residents, modifying the community’s culture, & bringing about resentment

There are one positive charge +3Q and one negative charge −Q which are fixed on the x-axis with coordinate (−d,0) and (d,0) respectively. We would like to place a third one, carrying +2Q, at some place such that the net electric force on it is zero. I said that the third charge should be placed to the right of the negative charge (-Q) so that the +3Q and -Q charges are canceling out. k(3Q)(Q)/(x^2) = k(2Q)(Q)/(x-2d)^2 distance from 3Q to...
