Have you been in a situation where you (or another member of your family, or a friend) have been authorized to act on behalf of another person (or company) ? Explain how that happened - were you given a Power of Attorney?
Or, did you have an Agency Agreement with the person who authorized you to represent them?

Last year a situation came, head of our family business gone out of country for a personal work for a couple of months. He was unable to take decissions. Thats why he gave me an official POWER OF ATTORNEY to me. It means an agreement between him and me regarding transfer of powers.

As per power of attorney, I was lliable for decissions related to our family business and also the responsibilities.

Though i was quite new to the role and took me a time to get used to the business resposibilities.There were no legal issues.
