Answer - Pollution havens refers the hypothesis that many industries set up their manufacturing industries and hire the labor from such developing countries where the regulations related to environment are relaxed and the resources are available at cheap costs.

Many multinational corporations function on this phenomenon. Hence this is a practically proved hypothesis. The corporations in order to save their high evvironmental costs , set up units far , in developing countries with lax environmental regulations and have huge environmental costs.
