One objection to utilitarian ethics is that it turns everything into an ethical issue. For example: if I spend an evening at a baseball game, but would have derived more pleasure from going to a concert, then I have committed a moral wrong. Nothing is exempt from moral evaluation. Is that a fair criticism? Support your claim with examples.

Ethics are code of conduct on the basis of which we decide what is right or wrong ,since economics is a science of wealth hence to be true economics should be ethical for that it is meant for the welfare . Also it is important that sole motive of economic activity is to earn profit for that all the alternatives which yield maximum profit should be taken into account for example Google corporation always remain competitive in terms of market share but it lays a great emphasis on employees comforts and benefits.it needed to be taken into account that both ethics and economical laws can develop the entire globe .US open economy and world highest capitalist economy lays emphasis on old age pensions and retirement benifits and this in turn ensures a healthy and efficient workforce
